Success Stories - Jim Y.
Jim had started his real estate investing career in 1986 when he was a drywall contractor. With his drywall business booming, Jim needed a tax shelter, so he purchased Carleton's course.
Over the years, Jim invested in single family home and multi-unit properties. He even went commercial - his most ambitious project was an industrial park that he built in 1988. It didn't matter to Jim whether his drywall business was slow or busy - he was making money with his real estate.
Although Jim has sold some of his properties over the years, he still maintains a handful of both residential and commercial properties, and has a healthy "nest egg" for retirement.
