I am new to fliping properties. I have a house which I fixed up and want to sell. Since I was new to this, I though I would go through an agent to sell the house. Probably a mistake. After four months of listing, I have not sold the house. I am currently looking at putting the house on the market "For Sale By Owner." I am looking for creative ways to sell "For Sale by Owner" in the Southeast Michigan area. This propertiy is located in Eastpointe Michigan.

Well, can I ask you this...

Do you need a sale, or is the financing good enough, where you could stick in a tenant/buyer in there, and lease it to them for a year or two, and then sell it? You would be amazed at how many people out there have "imperfect credit" (to say the least) who are looking to get into a home. You could get +CF while you rent, and you could raise the price of the property by $10K - $15K, for this opportunity. You might have better luck at that approach, again, if the financing is low enough to get a renter in there.

Otherwise, post on Craigslist... Man, you will get responses through the roof... I am amazed to how many people use that site.

70% of home buyers need more flexible terms than banks and mortgage companies offer. This means you as the seller have to wait and wait to sell your home.

I met this seller Anil and this is almost exactly what's happening to him. The realtor is still out of the equation. This FSBO has had this home on FSBO listing for about a year. Maybe your can email this seller with some of your ideas at AKAASSOCIATES@YAHOO.COM. Thanks.
