I send my clients to Cambridge Credit Counceling service.  When they have paid the debt down, I have a program that I offer to help boost the score quickly...

I had no credit score at all. Carlton's advisor told me to join a credit union. I did. Although I just started cleaning my credit up by paying on or paying the smallest bill first whittling away at it. My score is still weak but at least I have one. It's just under 600. Paying attention to your creditors and paying when you're suppose to and a little strategy really seems to pay off but it can be slow and seemingly for ever to achieve. I guess a person doesn't get a really low score or none at all overnight and the same is true getting a good score. I hope that helps you.

Yes, having credit is so important in life. Paying bills on time is very important and also establish a better credit rating than paying bills late. Paying bills on time is key.
