Hi!

I was wondering if anyone had any insight into what the most appropriate business structure would be for a husband and wife team who are looking to buy, rehab, and sell properties at an initial rate of 4 a year.

I understand the benefits of a subchapter S but it seems like to much for what we will be doing initially. Any insight into the risks associated of not forming a legal entity would also be very much appreciated!

Hello! We're in the same boat...getting started and looking to rehab a few per year.

We just formed an LLC....with me & hubby as only members for now. Possibly to expand in future with more members/partners.

That's how I did it, not sure if that would be best for you guys or not...

There are alot of resources out there to help you figure out what avenues to take, also talking to a CPA or attorney is definitely advised.

I do know for sure that if something goes wrong somewhere you would be held personally responsible and could be sued for everything you own if it's not under something other than your own name.

I had started a new business with some staff members and i want to expand it. I wandering if any one help me in doing so.
