It'd be great for us to put all the great info we've all come across in one spot - makes it easier to find, come back to when we need something and add to when we find a good deal or info!


I'll be sure to post more as I find them...these are the ones I use and/or have bookmarked:


Yard signs - car magnets - all sorts of advertising ideas! Searched thru a bunch and this was the cheapest/nicest spot so far, that you didn't have to buy in huge bulk:

For business cards/letter head, etc...you can get at least your first 250 cards for free, they also send out lots of great deals & discounts via email and sometimes snail mail.

Tons of info about REI: different types of biz structures, definitions of legal terms, all sorts of great information pertaining to real estate investing....straight from a real estate attorney. They do hit you up for seminars and ebooks - but the info on the site is worth a few newsletter emails here and there. Did a Google search & lots of info came up on him, seems good & legit.

I've had a few requests about the questionnaire I use when people contact me online about selling their home. Here are the questions listed below. This is a general form that I simply copy into an email reply to them....feel free to use it & customize it for your own needs!

Your name, street address and phone:


Street address of property (if not the same as above):


- Number of Bedrooms/Bathrooms:


- What is the approximate square footage of the home?
(Length x Width of outside of home)

- Is the property in move-in condition, or will it need repairs before occupancy?

If so, please explain what types of updates it will need:


- What are the taxes & insurance costs on a yearly basis?


- What is your asking price?


- What is your reason for selling?


- Are you willing to seller finance? (IE: instead of purchaser obtaining conventional mortgage they would pay you directly instead of a bank/mortgage company

I placed the web sites in my real estate folder and printed out the questionnaire. Thanks sooo much!
